Some of my most important work happens outside the office, in hospital rooms and assisted living facilities where I sit with clients who need documents handled when they cannot easily make it in to see us. Being there in person, walking someone through what has to be signed and why, is a large part of what I do and a large part of why I like doing it.
I came to Cambridge Cape Cod Advisors through a friend who was already a client. She knew Greg was looking for administrative help and thought I would fit, so I started in a support role. It grew into relationship management fairly quickly, mostly because I kept wanting to know more about the people whose accounts crossed my desk. Before this, I was home raising my family, which turns out to be good training for keeping a lot of moving pieces organized while staying tuned in to what people actually need.
These days I handle client onboarding and stay close to people through the transitions that rearrange a financial life. I remember the names of their kids and grandkids, ask how the trip went, and circle back on whatever they mentioned the last time we talked. When a client reaches a goal they have been working toward for years, I get to watch it happen and know I helped move it along, and that is the part I would not trade.
I was born in Montreal and have lived in Sandwich, Massachusetts, for twenty-nine years. I am married with two grown children. Outside of work you can usually find me in my gardens, reliably covered in poison ivy, or spending time with my family.
